Finite-Element Analysis

GT STRUDL

Georgia Institute of Technology -- Research Corp.

GT STRUDL is a computer-aided engineering system for finite elementanalysis and structural design. It is structured to integrate andsatisfy the computational, data management, and decision-making needs ofstructural engineers and analysts.GT STRUDL integrates a wide variety of finite-element analysis, structural design, graphical display, and database management features.Analysis includes both linear and nonlinear static and dynamic structuralanalysis. More than 60 finite element types are available, includingconventional, isoparametric, and hybrid formulation elements. Design insteel is performed by the AISC, ASME NF 17, API, and ASCE specificationsfor general framed steel structures and steel transmission towers.Design in reinforced concrete is performed in accordance with the latestAmerican Concrete Institute Codes (including ACI 318-89) and BritishStandards Institution (BS8110) specifications for general frame and wallstructures, including seismic considerations.
